Seeds of life

Download transcript

Andrew Charlton talks about the different kinds of seeds he sows on his farm. Seeds for food for people and seeds for wild birds and animals. The wheat he grows is used for grinding into flour for making bread. He also grows a winter wild bird mix specifically for feeding wild birds in winter when their natural food supply has dwindled away. His bird friends do a great job eating the insects on his crops in the spring.

Fieldfare and robin recorded by Stuart Fisher XC25598 and SC29569, accessible at www.xeno-canto.org
