Mill the seed

Download transcript

Mark Abel, from Denver Mill, describes what it is like to make flour with his wind powered mill. Have a listen to the power in those mill stones as they grind the wheat seeds into a fine, warm flour.

The last commercially working windmill in Norfolk, Denver Mill is not only a centre for craft baking and traditional cereal, milling and flour technology and training, but also a unique example of how the old and the new country ways of life can come together. Check out Mark at work below and for more information see their site: www.denvermill.co.uk
